A juvenile female was transported to a Metroplex hospital after sustaining injuries in a bull riding accident in Decatur Saturday night. According to scanner traffic, the juvenile suffered a chest injury at the Wise County Fairgrounds. Wise County Crime Report for Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025
ONLY IN WISE…SUNDAY, SEPT. 21: 100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4431 — Caller advised an individual was banging on the door and attempting to gain entry into the house. While deputies were in route, a physical altercation ensued. Upon arrival, deputy spoke with the suspect, who stated he suffered a knee injury and could not get up. At this point, the man denied medical transport. Investigation revealed the man instigated a physical altercation due to his personal belief that some beer cans he found on his property more than a mile away were related to the caller, and he attempted to force entry into the residence. Upon being made aware of the pending criminal charges of burglary of a habitation, terroristic threat, and assault Class C, the man became increasingly concerned for his potential knee injury and requested transport to the hospital. Offenses to be filed at large, and a criminal trespass warning was issued.
